IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES
Heinz Beck
“A man from the North, without a doubt. Who has the South in his heart. A meticulous and orderly professional, who however loves the chaos of certain squares and certain parties. Someone who loves linearity and rigor, but/and cannot do without creative flashes and digressions. Heinz Beck needs special perfumes. He, a German from Germany, who seen from here should be immersed in the purifying Scots pine and the acidic degreaser of sauerkraut, lives in Rome, the gateway to the phantasmagoric and opulent olfactory variety of the South, and is very much in love with Sicily, discovered and embraced through his wife Teresa.
He, however, is a practical man, he is a chef and therefore he grasps the impalpable elements, but he works with the material. And in his material, in his dishes, he translates all this. Therefore, those who try his cuisine have those sensations of good and beauty that do not know where they come from. It is the evocative power of aromas, it is the elusive scent of life. For example, in his rabbit tortellini, in addition to carrots, there is chamomile, reassuring and beneficial, a humble grass from the meadows that rabbits in the countryside know, smell and nibble, which they consume in their daily meals.
Together with carrots, perhaps, too; but here we are trespassing into the world of comics, and perhaps this too can fit into Heinz's playful and candid imagination. In the wholemeal maccheroncini with shellfish, however, the contrast with the delicacy of the marine flavors is the smoked aubergine coulis, so simple and strong, the earth that inexorably attracts the sea, the wave that goes to the beach; and the crunchy bread, primordial aroma. And the apple that accompanies the foie gras is an (un)conscious allusion to the sin (of gluttony, okay), disguised as a harmless playmate. Why, then, do we startle if marzipan appears in the ricotta cream? and then the pistachio soft? yes, the sun, the South, but if you had any doubts, here you are overwhelmed by the candied orange sorbet. This is Heinz Beck. These are his magic."

Massimo Bottura
Antonella Bondi has created a fragrance in honor of the new SUV model from the House of the Trident Maserati, a prestigious car manufacturer from Modena.
It is called, like the SUV itself, "Levante", and weaves its olfactory alchemy like a breeze of citrus fruits where Bergamot, Sweet Orange and Mandarin accompany one of the dishes specially designed by the Osteria Francescana for Maserati, presented in the splendid setting of Lake Garda in the presence of major representatives of the national and international press, customers and enthusiasts.
Maserati and Chef Massimo Bottura have announced a collaboration that will combine the automotive excellence of the Trident brand with the gastronomic excellence represented by the "Osteria Francescana" restaurant, 3 Michelin stars.
A huge, heartfelt "thank you" to the great chef, to all the staff of Osteria Francescana, an infinite and heartfelt thank you for the trust that Massimo Bottura has placed in me, with my profound esteem for everything he has been able to create and continues to create with his art.
